  1. Hey Ms. Cotney. this is Georgia. Is there any way you can explain to me how to do #31 on page 59? I was doing the practice test and i came across one just like it and i've tryed every possible way but still can't solve it.

  2. Ok Georgia, it says that the two angles are complementary which means the sum of the their measures equal 90. So add angle T and U and set it equal to 90 and solve then you will get x. Then to find the actual angles then put that x back into T and U. Don't be afraid if everything does not work out to be whole numbers, decimals are ok. Let me know if you need anything else.

  3. will you help me on this,
    Find the measures of two supplementary angles,<M and <N , if m <M=6x+3 and m <N=2x-7

  4. Ok, supplementary means the sum of the measures of the two angles will equal 180. So if you add the two angles and set it equal to 180 then you can solve for x. Then plug that x into <M and <N to find the measures of those two angles. Let me know if you need further explanation.
