This is a very interesting activity. It allows you to explore the Titanic and the people that survived and died while on the Titanic. It will also incorporate some mathematical knowledge because you will have to create some graphs about the information you have found. DO NOT COMPLAIN to the sub about this activity and if you have any questions you can comment on the blog and I will check it often to help. Everything is pretty self explanatory and you guys are intelligent people so I KNOW you will do well. You are working with a partner and you will be presenting this on the Monday I return to school so take it seriously. Have fun!!
Here's the link to the papers you already have in hand but this will help because of the links.

Hey mrs.cotney it's Hannah. I don't understand how find the slope on 1-6 4.5
ReplyDeleteHannah, if you will give me the details of the problems...what it gives you and what it is asking I will explain but I'm not around my textbook.
ReplyDelete1. Says y=3x+2 how can I get the slope of that when it doesn't give any cooridinants
ReplyDeleteOnce an equation is in slope intercept form the slope in front of x and thee y intercept is the by itself.
ReplyDeleteThank you but I don't think I understand what you are saying!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOk...if you were graphing that equation you would go up 2 and plot a point and them use the slope and go up three and right one. So when an equation is in slope intercept form meaning y is by itself you should be alter to recognize the slope as the number in front of x and the y intercept is the number by itself. Think about the way you would graph and look back at your notes.
ReplyDeleteOk thank you!
ReplyDeletei dont understang pg 231 37-40 this is kristen!
ReplyDeleteMs cotney I'm having a lot of problems with this and I'm looking in my notes too! But I won't to have the test tomorrow! ~ hannah
ReplyDeleteDisregard my above message I figured it out!
